Farrukhabad is a city located in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Farrukhabad tehsil.
The city is situated on the banks of the Ganges river. Geographically, it is positioned approximately 295 kilometres (183 mi) from Delhi, the national capital of India, and 210 kilometres (130 mi) from Lucknow, the state capital.
