Bangarmau is a tehsil and municipal board located in the Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated on high ground overlooking the left bank of the Kalyani river, approximately 50 km northwest of Unnao and 22 km northwest of Safipur.
The town serves as a transportation hub with roads fanning out in all directions, including the main Unnao-Hardoi road (SH38) which passes through the area. The local economy is characterized by the production of commodities such as wheat flour, rice, and pulses. As of the 2011 census, Bangarmau had a population of 44,204 residing in 7,600 households.
