Auraiya is a city and municipal board located in the Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated along National Highway 02 and falls under the jurisdiction of the Kanpur Mandal.
Historically, the city served as the tehsil headquarters for the Etawah district before it eventually became the designated district headquarters. Today, it remains a primary administrative center for the region.
