Shujalpur is a city and municipality located in the Shajapur district of Madhya Pradesh, India. The location is also commonly known by the name Ranoganj.
The city is historically significant as the site where Ranoji Rao Shinde, the father of Mahadji Shinde (Scindia), passed away in 1745. A cenotaph, or chattri, dedicated to him stands in the city and houses a Shiv temple.
