Sausar, also known as Saunsar, is a Municipal Council located in central India within the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is situated in the Vidarbha region, which identifies Nagpur as the primary center for all economic activities, located approximately 72 km from the town.
The local economy is primarily driven by agriculture. More than 90 per cent of farmers in the area produce oranges, while cotton is also grown in large quantities throughout the surrounding region.
