Narmadapuram, also known as Hoshangabad, is a city located in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Situated in central India, the city is positioned on the south bank of the Narmada River.
The city serves as the administrative headquarters for both the Hoshangabad district and the Narmadapuram division. It is located approximately 76.7 km (47.7 mi) from Bhopal, which is the capital of Madhya Pradesh and the nearest airport to the area.
