Mandideep is a town and municipality located in the Goharganj sub-district of the Raisen district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Situated approximately 23 km from Bhopal, the town was established in the late 1970s as an industrial township.
The area serves as a significant economic center in India, with annual productions valued at approximately Rs. 20,000 crore. According to the 2011 Census of India, the Mandideep Municipality has a population of 59,654, consisting of 32,390 males and 27,264 females.
The city maintains a literacy rate of 83.76%, which is notably higher than the state average of 69.32%. Within the municipality, the male literacy rate is approximately 89.33% and the female literacy rate is 77.04%.
