The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a collection of Hindu and Digambara Jain temples located in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, India. The site is situated approximately 46 km from the district headquarters of Chhatarpur city, 283 km from Gwalior, and 175 kilometres southeast of Jhansi.
The monuments are primarily recognized for their Nagara-style architectural symbolism. They are also well known for featuring a number of erotic sculptures integrated into the temple designs.
