Harsud

India

Harsud was a town and municipality located in the Khandwa district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The settlement possessed a long history, with records indicating that the town was more than 700 years old.

The town was submerged under the waters of the Indira Sagar dam in July 2004. As a result of this project, the municipality no longer exists in its original form.
