Barwani, also known as Badwani, is a municipal town located in the Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated near the left bank of the Narmada River and serves as the administrative headquarters for its namesake district.
Historically, the town functioned as the capital of the former princely state of Barwani. Currently, it is accessible only by road.
