Puraini is a village development committee located in the Banke District within the Lumbini Province of south-western Nepal. It currently serves as a constituent part of the Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city.
According to data from the 1991 Nepal census, Puraini had a population of 2,636 residents living in 512 houses. The area is situated in the Terai region of the country.
