Jhajha is a city and a notified area situated in the Jamui district of Bihar, India. It is located in the southern region of the state, positioned near the border shared with Jharkhand.
The city lies along the Howrah–Mughalsarai main railway line. Geographically, it is situated approximately midway between Madhupur Junction and Kiul Junction.
