Daudnagar

Daudnagar is a town located in the Aurangabad district of Bihar, India. It serves as the subdivisional headquarters for the Daudnagar Subdivision within the Magadh division. The subdivision was officially established on March 31, 1991, when it was created as a separate entity from the Aurangabad Sadar subdivision.

The town is recognized as a historical city with a history spanning approximately 200 years. A notable landmark of this heritage is an old historical fort situated on the eastern bank of the Son River. Additionally, Daudnagar is positioned along National Highway NH139, which provides a primary transportation link between the Palamu district of Jharkhand and Patna.
