Chanpatia

Chanpatia is a city located in the Nagar Panchayat of Bihar, India. It is situated on the bank of the Burhi Gandak River and serves as the administrative headquarters for the Chanpatia block within the Paschim Champaran district.

The city is positioned near the Indo-Nepal border, approximately 18 km from the district headquarters of Bettiah and 242 km north-west of Patna. It is notably recognized for its local cuisine, which includes Marcha Ka chura, Basmati rice, and Handi kabab.
