Barbigha is a town and municipality located in the Sheikhpura district of Bihar, India. It serves as one of the six administrative blocks within the Sheikhpura district.
The town is well-connected by road to Patna, the state capital. Major transportation routes include National Highways NH33 and NH333A, which pass through Barbigha, while the Bihta-Sarmera four-lane state highway passes from Gopalbad near the area.
Barbigha is home to several prominent religious sites, including the Vishnudham, Samas, Panchvadan Sthan, and Kusedhi temples.
