Pasighat is a city located in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It serves as the headquarters for the East Siang district and is situated at an elevation of 155 metres (509 ft) above mean sea level.
Positioned at the eastern foothills of the Himalayas, Pasighat is recognized as the oldest town in Arunachal Pradesh. In June 2017, the Government of India included the city in the Smart Cities Mission development scheme.
