Birpara is a census town situated in the Alipurduar subdivision of the Alipurduar district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It serves as an important location within the Dooars region, characterized by its surrounding scenic landscapes and numerous tea gardens.
The town is located approximately 60 km from Jalpaiguri and about 101 km from Siliguri. Additionally, Birpara is positioned near Gomtu, which is a border town shared with Bhutan.
