Alipur Duar

Alipurduar is a city located in the Indian state of West Bengal. It serves as the headquarters for both the Alipurduar district and the Alipurduar railway division of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).

The city is situated in the Western Dooars natural region, positioned on the banks of the Kaljani River within the foothills of the Himalayas. Due to its geographical location, it serves as a primary gateway to Bhutan.
