Kailashahar

Kailashahar is an urban area located in the northeastern Indian state of Tripura. It serves as a significant regional center and is recognized as the fourth largest urban area within the state. The city is situated near the northwest border with Bangladesh.

The city functions as a Municipal council and serves as the administrative headquarters for the Unakoti district. Geographically, it is positioned on the banks of the Manu River, which is the longest river in Tripura. It is also characterized by its surrounding landscape of Unakoti hills.
