Dharmanagar is a town located in the northeastern part of India within the state of Tripura. It serves as the administrative center for the North Tripura district, situated in the northernmost region of the state near the borders of Bangladesh.
As the second largest urban area in Tripura after Agartala, Dharmanagar is a significant commercial center for the hilly state. The Juri River flows through the town, which is governed by a municipal council.
