Udumalaipettai, also known as Udumalai, is a town located in the Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu, India. It serves as the headquarters of the Udumalaipettai taluk and falls under the jurisdiction of the Udumalaipettai Assembly constituency.
The town is situated approximately 535 km southwest of Chennai, the state capital, and is located about 72 km from Coimbatore. According to the 2011 Census of India, the population of Udumalaipettai was 61,133.
