Tirukkoyilur, also spelled as Tirukoilur or Tirukovilur, is a town located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It serves as the headquarters for the Tirukoilur taluk within the Kallakurichi district. The town is situated on the southern bank of the Thenpennai River and lies along the highway connecting the cities of Tiruvannamalai and Vellore with Southern Tamil Nadu.
The town is notable for several religious and historical landmarks, including the Ulagalantha Perumal Temple, the Veerateeswarar Temple, and Kabilar Kundru. Transportation to the area is facilitated by the Tirukoilur railway station.
