Sirkazhi, also known as Sirkali or Siyali, is a selection grade municipal town located in the Mayiladuthurai district of Tamil Nadu, India. Situated in the Cauvery delta region, the town lies approximately 13 km (8 mi) from the coast of the Bay of Bengal and about 250 km (160 mi) from Chennai, the state capital.
The town covers an area of 13.21 km² (5.10 sq mi) and was administered by a second grade municipality as of 2011, when it had a population of 34,927. Historically, Sirkazhi was part of the Thanjavur district until 1991, then moved to Nagapattinam district before being incorporated into Mayiladuthurai district in 2020.
Agriculture serves as the primary occupation in this region. The town is connected by a network of roads totaling 51.47 km (31.98 mi), which includes a national highway serving as a main means of transportation.
