Perungudi is a neighborhood located in Chennai, within the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is situated approximately 10 kilometres south of Adyar and lies between the areas of Taramani and Thoraipakkam.
The neighborhood is bordered on two sides by the Old Mahabalipuram Road and the Perungudi lake. Geographically, it runs parallel to Kottivakkam and Palavakkam along the East Coast Road. It is notably situated in the middle of an Information Technology (IT) Estate on the Old Mahabalipuram IT Expressway.
