Pallikaranai is a residential neighborhood located in south Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It officially became a part of the Chennai Corporation in July 2011.
The area experienced significant population growth during the 2000s due to its proximity to major commercial hubs. These include the IT industry along Old Mahabalipuram Road, Chennai's central business districts, and the automobile hub situated on GST Road.
