This certification specifically pertains to its systems for town planning, lighting, social services, and the provision and maintenance of water supply, solid waste, and sewage management.
Namakkal is commonly referred to as "Egg City" due to its significant large-scale egg production. Additionally, it is known as a "Transport City."
