Manapparai is a town located in the Tiruchirappalli district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It serves as the headquarters of the Manapparai Taluk and is situated approximately 38 km from the city of Trichy.
The town is primarily known for its cattle market and its production of murukku, a traditional snack. As of the 2011 census, the population of Manapparai was recorded at 40,510.
