Madukkarai is a municipality located in the Coimbatore district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It serves as the headquarters for the Madukkarai taluk. The town was previously classified as a panchayat town until it was officially upgraded to a municipality in 2021.
The settlement covers a total area of 21.47 km² (8.29 sq mi). According to the 2011 census, Madukkarai had a recorded population of 30,357 individuals.
