Kuzhithurai

Kuzhithurai is a town situated in the Kanyakumari District of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It serves as the administrative headquarters for the Vilavancode Taluk and is located approximately 26 km north of Nagercoil and 42 km south of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala.

The town is recognized for its historical significance as a seaport where merchants from across the Arabian Sea arrived during ancient times. It appears in ancient Indian maps and had a recorded population of 21,307 as of 2011.
