Kariapatti is a town Panchayat city located in the Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu, India. According to the 2011 Census India report, the city has a total population of 18,984, consisting of 9,439 males and 9,545 females.
The Kariapatti Town Panchayat is organized into 15 wards. Elections for these wards are conducted every five years to manage local governance.
