Hosur is an industrial city located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It serves as one of the 21 municipal corporations within the state and is situated on the banks of the River Ponnaiyar.
The city is positioned approximately 40 kilometres southeast of Bengaluru and 306 kilometres west of Chennai, the state capital. Hosur is a significant hub for manufacturing, hosting major industries such as Stellantis, Ashok Leyland, Titan, TATA Electronics, TVS Motors, Caterpillar, Ather Energy, and Schaeffler.
