Darasuram, also referred to as Dharasuram, is a neighborhood located within the city of Kumbakonam in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.
The area is primarily recognized for housing the Airavateswara temple, which was constructed during the 12th century CE by Rajaraja Chola II. The temple is distinguished as a UNESCO World Heritage monument.
