Anuppanadi

Anuppanadi is a neighborhood located in the Madurai district of Tamil Nadu state in peninsular India. It sits at an altitude of approximately 152 meters above mean sea level, with geographical coordinates of 9°54′17.3″N 78°08′24.4″E.

The area includes several notable neighborhoods, such as Madurai, Vandiyur, Anna Nagar, K. K. Nagar, East Gate, South Gate, Goripalayam, Sellur, Simmakkal, Yanaikkal, and Nelpettai. Archaeological excavations conducted at the site in 1887 revealed historical artifacts, specifically jar burials and earthenware containers.
