Annur is a town Panchayat and the headquarters of the Annur Taluk located within the Coimbatore district of India. It serves as a suburb of Coimbatore, situated approximately 30 kilometres north-east of the city center.
The town is positioned near several other locations, including Mettupalayam to the west, Avanashi to the east, and Punjai Puliampatti to the north. Transportation links include the Coimbatore International Airport, located about 27 kilometres away, and the Mettupalayam railway station, which is roughly 21 kilometres from Annur. The area also contains a police station in the Karumathampatti subdivision.
