Sunel is a town located in the Jhalawar district of Rajasthan, India. It has a population of approximately 25,000 residents.
The town was formerly known as Ahilya Nagri. Geographically, it is situated near the Ahu River, which lies about 3 kilometres (2 miles) away from the settlement.
