Sumerpur is a city located in the southern part of the Pali District in the state of Rajasthan, India. It was established in 1912 on the northern bank of the Jawai River and was named in honor of Maharaja Sumer Singh of Jodhpur.
The town serves as the headquarters for both the Sumerpur Tahsil and the Sumerpur revenue subdivision. Additionally, it functions as a significant agricultural mandi (market) serving the districts of Pali, Sirohi, and Jalore.
