Sri Madhopur is a city and municipality located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India. It was founded on April 18, 1761, during the reign of Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I. The city serves as one of the five tehsils within the Sikar district.
The city is primarily known for its temples and houses the Sri Madhopur wheat market, which is the largest in the Sikar district. Additionally, it is home to the Sri Madhopur Government School, noted as one of the largest schools in the region. The city is also a significant point on the Delhi-Mumbai Freight Corridor, where a crossing station has been selected for development.
