Sangod is a city and municipality located in the Kota district of Rajasthan, India. It serves as a local administrative center and is represented in the state's government by a Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA).
The city is named after Sanga Gurjar, who was honored for his victory over Meens and Jaats. Local governance is currently overseen by Kavita Gehlot, who serves as the Chairman of the Nagar Palika.
