Pindwara is a municipality and tehsil located in the Sirohi District of Rajasthan, India. Situated near the city of Sirohi, it lies approximately 435 km southwest of the state capital, Jaipur, positioned between the Aravalli Hills and the plains of the Marwar region.
The town serves as one of the primary financial centers of the Sirohi district following Abu Road. As of the 2011 census, Pindwara had a population of 24,487.
Historically, Pindwara was a major hub for marble and stone carving in India. It is widely recognized for its skilled artisans who contribute to temple construction globally; notable examples include the marble carvings for the Akshardham temple network and the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya.
