Kotputli

Kotputli is a city and municipal council located in the Kotputli-Behror district of Rajasthan, India. Situated between the cities of Jaipur and New Delhi, it serves as the district headquarters. The city is part of the Ahirwal region of Rajasthan and has historically been associated with the wider Matsya-Bairath cultural space.

The area is characterized by its numerous historic temples and educational institutions. Notable landmarks include the Sardar School and the Sardar Zanana Hospital, which were established by local bodies in collaboration with the Morijawala and Tijoriwala families. Since these initial developments, a significant number of additional schools and hospitals have been constructed throughout Kotputli.
