Bhiwadi is a planned city located in the Khairthal-Tijara district of Rajasthan, India. It is situated on the border between the states of Rajasthan and Haryana and serves as part of the National Capital Region of Delhi. The city is positioned approximately 32 km from the district headquarters of Khairthal-Tijara and 85 km from the city of Alwar.
The urban layout of Bhiwadi is divided into three distinct zones: residential, industrial, and commercial. It is recognized as a significant hub for Japanese and Taiwanese companies. In recent years, the city has gained notoriety for having some of the highest levels of air pollution in the world.
