Abu Road

Abu Road is a city and sub-district located in the Sirohi district of Rajasthan state in western India. Situated on the bank of the West Banas River, it serves as the tehsil and sub-district headquarters. It is recognized as the largest city within the Sirohi District when measured by both population and land area.

The city features a significant railway station that functions as an important stop on the main Indian Railways line connecting New Delhi and Ahmedabad. This location has seen substantial growth in passenger traffic and revenue for the North Western Railway zone. Additionally, Abu Road is located 27 km from the popular hill station of Mount Abu.
