Phagwara

Phagwara is a city and municipal corporation situated in the Kapurthala district of Punjab, India. Geographically, it is located approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the district headquarters of Kapurthala and 124 kilometres (77 mi) from Chandigarh, which serves as the state capital.

The city is an industrial hub recognized for its production of various goods, including sugar, glucose, starch, fine fabric, and auto parts. Locally, Phagwara is known for the Shri Hanuman Garhi Temple.
