Mukerian is a city and Municipal council located in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab, India. It serves as a district headquarters and is situated approximately 450 kilometres (280 mi) north of New Delhi.
The city is positioned on National Highway 44 and state highway 15. It is served by the Jalandhar-Jammu railway line and maintains road connectivity to several nearby locations, including Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Talwara, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot.
