Mohali

Mohali, officially known as Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar or Ajitgarh, is a planned city located in the Mohali district of Punjab, India. Situated to the south-west of Chandigarh, it serves as an important administrative and commercial hub for the region.

The city functions as the headquarters of the Mohali district and is one of the six Municipal Corporations within the state of Punjab. It was officially named in honor of Sahibzada Ajit Singh, who was the eldest son of Guru Gobind Singh.
