Sunabeda is an industrial town and municipality located in the state of Odisha, India. It is situated within the valleys of the Koraput region.
The town serves as a significant site for the aircraft manufacturing company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), which is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. The facility houses the Engine division and the Sukhoi division, where Saturn AL-31 engines are manufactured for the Indian Air Force's Sukhoi Su-30MKI Flanker fighter jet fleet.
