Rairangpur

Rairangpur is a city and tehsil located in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, India. It is situated on the banks of the Khadkhai river, approximately 82 kilometres from the district headquarters of Baripada and about 73 kilometres from Jamshedpur.

As the second largest city in the Mayurbhanj district, Rairangpur is a significant mining area for the state of Odisha. The region produces iron-ore from the Gorumahisani, Badampahar, and Suleipat mines. Notable local attractions in the vicinity include the Simlipal Tiger Reserve and the Kharkhai (Suleipat) Dam.
