Kuchinda is a town and notified area council located in the Sambalpur district of Odisha, India. It is situated approximately 80 km from the district headquarters of Sambalpur and about 48 km from Jharsuguda.
The region is primarily characterized as a tribal area where the majority of the population relies on farming for their livelihood. Kuchinda is notably recognized for its celebration of Dushera and its proximity to the Gudguda waterfall.
