Karanjia

Karanjia is a town and a Notified Area Council (NAC) located in the eastern Indian state of Odisha. Situated approximately 221 kilometres (134 mi) north of the state capital, Bhubaneswar, it serves as the sub-divisional headquarter for the Panchpir sub-division within the Mayurbhanj district.

The town is geographically defined by its proximity to the Deo river, which forms a natural border on its southeast side. This river serves as the official boundary for the Mayurbhanj district.
