Chümoukedima, formerly known as Samaguting, is a municipality located in the Chümoukedima District of the Indian state of Nagaland. It is situated on the left bank of the Chathe river.
The Chümoukedima Metropolitan Area encompasses several surrounding towns and villages. It represents the largest urban agglomeration in Nagaland by land area and ranks as the third largest in terms of population, following Dimapur and Kohima.
